Parimelazhagar says that when hostility, the greatest suffering among sufferings, is absent, that absence gives the greatest joy among joys. Its ending does not require a harmed person to forget or reconnect with someone unsafe. Protection, documented consequences, and no contact may remain. The joy is relief: mind, time, and common life no longer revolve around retaliation.
