Parimelazhagar’s commentary

13th century · public domain

Parimelazhagar’s own words come first, unaltered. The plain reading follows below.

Parimelazhagar says that when opposition arises within, ceasing to meet it with further antagonism becomes gain. If instead a person undertakes to intensify it, ruin itself advances toward that person. The warning concerns cultivated escalation, not firm protection or just accountability.
